As every year, La Passerelle has issued a call for projects for all arts and crafts professionals who wish to participate in the theme:
“Foret : La re [N] essence!” (Forest” and play-joke with the Re-birth and [N]ature). Tassou responded by proposing the sculpture “Bing” and was selected. He therefore participated in this exhibition from 2021 october 16th to december 31th.
Bing is a collection of powerful permanent magnets found in computer hard drives. They constitute the motor which ensures the positioning of the reading head. This sculpture is interactive because each magnet is removable, being retained only by its own magnetic field. Everyone could therefore give another form to this sculpture by placing the magnets to develop a more personal composition.
