La Gacilly (France, 56200) – La Passerelle – Collective exhibition

As every year, La Passerelle has issued a call for projects for all arts and crafts professionals who wish to participate in the theme:
“Foret : La re [N] essence!”
(Forest” and play-joke with the Re-birth and [N]ature). Tassou responded by proposing the sculpture “Bing” and was selected. He will therefore participate in this exhibition from 2021 october 16th to december 31th.

Bing is a collection of powerful permanent magnets found in computer hard drives. They constitute the motor which ensures the positioning of the reading head. This sculpture is interactive because each magnet is removable, being retained only by its own magnetic field. Everyone could therefore give another form to this sculpture by placing the magnets to develop a more personal composition.

“Bing”- Height 90 cm – Price: 1000 €.

La Gacilly (56200) – Evening event

Aserti Group is an electronic equipment maintenance company headquartered in Vannes. Amateur of Cybertrash, she supports my artistic approach and provides me with rare components. They can be found here and there in my sculptures, which thus become the concrete testimony of its commitment to the traceability of materials and the future of waste linked to its activity. On Thursday May 16, 2019, Jean-Louis Gaertner, president of the group, brought together his employees and clients for a cocktail reception at the Passerelle during the “Metamorphoses” exhibition.

Vannes (56000) – Partnership

ASERTI Group, the European electronic equipment maintenance network headquartered in Vannes, has introduced the collection of used electronic components to its employees by installing in its workshops throughout Europe containers called “Tassou Trash”. Once filled, they are sent to the Tassou’s workshop. These components then serve as a substrate for the creation of new works. In order to help them make the most of this approach, the Piu communication agency, located in Saint Avé, has produced a 12-page limited edition brochure, illustrated with recent works by Tassou that are part of the company’s private collection.
